Avenues for Change was founded in 2006 with the publishing of Creating Avenues for Change, an award winning book by Vicki Kearney. This book was republished in 2011 in ebook format and titled Steiner Education, A Visual Journey from Preschool to High School. Vicki has a long involvement with Steiner education via her four children and appreciates the beauty of nature mirrored through her work.

Avenues for Change, based in Brisbane Australia, connects the young child to nature through its publications, web resources and services. The business is a publisher of early childhood books with a Steiner Waldorf influence and an entry point to Steiner inspired playgroups, nature and forest kindergartens.
